1981年入中國文化大學音樂系,1985年加入伊甸基金會盲人喜樂四重唱, 足跡遍及台港星馬及美國。 1996年赴休士頓大學攻讀聲樂碩士, 2002年取得西南浸信會神學院聖樂碩士, 2008年按牧。 2015年, 先妻過世。2018年蒙召, 以「走出教會圍牆: 敬拜、佈 道、訓練」為異象踏上信心之路。以房車為家展開佈道事工, 2020年再婚, 夫婦同心事主。如今常受邀於台灣、美國各教會舉辦音樂佈道會, 願為耶穌多得灵魂。

Pastor Chen Ming-hui was born in Pingtung, Taiwan. When he was seven years old, his father lost his sight due to a work-related injury; a year later, at the age of eight, Pastor Chen himself lost his sight due to an eye disease. During his high school years, deeply moved by the hymn “Amazing Grace,” he accepted Christ as his Savior and resolved to dedicate his life to serving God through music.

In 1981, he enrolled in the Department of Music at Chinese Culture University. In 1985, he joined the “Joyful Blind Quartet” under the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, performing across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States. In 1996, he traveled to the University of Houston to pursue a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance. He subsequently earned a Master of Music in Sacred Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002 and was ordained as a pastor in 2008. In 2015, his first wife passed away. In 2018, he received a divine calling and embarked on a journey of faith with the vision of “Stepping Beyond Church Walls: Worship, Evangelism, and Training.” Making his sedan his home, he launched an itinerant evangelistic ministry. In 2020, he remarried, and he and his wife now serve the Lord together with one heart. Today, he is frequently invited by churches throughout Taiwan and the United States to lead music evangelism services, with the earnest desire to win many souls for Jesus.
